I Am Now a Father

Since last month, I have been a proud father. As you can imagine, there was little time to work on things. But still, I did some stuff before birth.

Good Indexes

New Site & Payment System

I’ve finished the migration of the book to its new destination at goodindexes.com. Its the same site with some improvements like a proper newsletter system that I can send out more interesting stuff in the future.

But the biggest reason I wanted to do this migration was because of my payment processor. I’ve been pissed of by all the bugs of Lemon Squeezy which I used before. So I switched to Paddle which is more integration effort but I was able to create an integrated buying experience that is unmatched. The payment system looks like it belongs to the site and directly forwards you to the member area after purchase.

Black Friday

Yes, I am early for this, but I also didn’t know whether I would find time to activate and announce the deal later on. You can now get a 50% discount on everything! Even the team licenses are reduced. So this is the best way to help an increased family to put food on the table 😅

Project Sandbox

I haven’t done any open-source this month. But I’ve worked on an awesome new technology this month. Its really interesting and I believe its the coolest thing I’ve ever worked on. Its quite complicated but so cool when using it. I can hopefully lift the curtain before Christmas or in February to tell you what it will be.
